Die natürliche Struktur der Keramik steht bei der Kollektion Varius besonders im Vordergrund. Die Form wird durch eine auf den noch rohen Scherben von Hand aufgetragene schwarze Engobe akzentuiert. Eine farbige transparente Glasur verleiht der Keramik im zweiten Brand eine aussergewöhnliche Tiefe des Dekors. Die ursprünglich schwarz engobierten Flächen, nehmen dadurch den tiefsten Farbton in der Scala der Glasur an und bilden Charakter und Persönlichkeit eines jeden Einzelstücks. Durch die Vielzahl von Form und Farbenvarianten, lassen sich die Keramiken der Varius Kollektion hervorragend kombinieren und geben der gedeckten Tafel ein ausgewogen Bild in den Farben des Sommers.
